Having assessed the current information received from Eurocontrol and the trends indicating anticipated closure of the airspace over London Heathrow Airport due to fresh contamination with volcanic ash, Kingfisher Airlines regrets to announce the cancellation of flights to and from London Heathrow on Monday May 17, 2010. We place the safety and comfort of our guests, crew and aircraft above everything else and regret the inconvenience caused to our valued guests.
Because the situation is dynamic and ever changing, a decision for tomorrow’s flights will be made closer to the departure time based on updates from Eurocontrol.
