Please proceed to the airport only if you have a confirmed ticket.

Flight Disruptions Update – Issued on Monday December 20, 2010 at 20:00 hours IST


Mumbai December 20, 2010 – Kingfisher Airlines flight IT 002 operating from London Heathrow to New Delhi on Monday December 20 has had to be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control. Guests booked on this flight are requested NOT to proceed to the airport.

The aircraft that was scheduled to operate this flight is currently held up at Brussels airport because local supplies of de-icing fluid have been exhausted and fresh supplies are expected to take quite a while. Consequently, the several inches of snow covering the aircraft cannot be removed and the aircraft cannot depart from Brussels.

The guests who were on flight IT 007 of Sunday December 19 are currently in Brussels and will be taken by surface transport to London tonight, subject to clearance by the immigration authorities.

Guests booked to fly with us on this cancelled flight may contact our call centres or their travel agent in case of any doubt. As we are experiencing high volume of calls at our call centres, guests may have to wait a little longer to get the information. We regret the inconvenience caused to our valued guests on account of the disruptions caused by the spell of severe weather.


Flight Disruptions Update – Issued on Monday December 20, 2010 at 15:15 hours IST


Mumbai December 20, 2010 – Consequent upon the partial re-opening of London Heathrow airport, the following flights of Kingfisher Airlines will operate as per schedule today:-


  1. IT-008 London Heathrow to Mumbai – departs London Heathrow at 20:25hrs (GMT)
  2. IT-002 London Heathrow to New Delhi – departs London Heathrow at 21:30hrs (GMT)

Please proceed to the airport only if you have a confirmed ticket.

The following flights that were scheduled to arrive into London Heathrow on Sunday December 19 and had to be diverted to nearby airfields will now arrive into London Heathrow airport today evening, i.e. Monday as per their scheduled time of arrival:-


  1. IT-001 New Delhi to London Heathrow
  2. IT-002 London Heathrow to New Delhi

Flight Disruptions Update – Issued on Sunday December 19, 2010 at 13:00 hours IST


Mumbai December 19, 2010 – Due to the persistent bad weather at London Heathrow airport and non availability of the runway due to snow, Kingfisher Airlines regrets to announce the cancellation of all flights scheduled to operate to and from London Heathrow on Sunday December 19, 2010. The flights that have been cancelled are:


  1. IT-007 Mumbai to London Heathrow
  2. IT-008 London Heathrow to Mumbai
  3. IT-001 New Delhi to London Heathrow
  4. IT-002 London Heathrow to New Delhi

Guests who were supposed to travel on 18th & 19th are now requested to contact their travel agents and the Kingfisher Call centre for alternates.

As a result of the disruptions in flight schedules due to inclement weather, Kingfisher Airlines regrets that the following flights for Monday December 20, 2010 also stand cancelled.


  1. IT-007 Mumbai to London Heathrow
  2. IT-001 New Delhi to London Heathrow

Due to these circumstances, Kingfisher Airlines will waive all cancellation and reissue penalties on all confirmed tickets issued for travel on above mentioned flights. Re-booking will be permitted at no additional charge for a period of 14 days from their original date. Please contact Kingfisher Airlines or your travel agent, whoever issued your ticket, to discuss your options.
