Guest with Disabilities and/or Reduced Mobility

Guests with reduced mobility can expect a personalized and caring treatment from us. An escort with a wheel chair can be assigned to the guest. Help in check-in, boarding and disembarkation can also be availed. Our flight attendants are formally updated about guests' requirements on board their flights. Besides, a personalized briefing is also conducted on the flight for visually impaired guests, guests with reduced mobility and other guests with special needs, to familiarize them with the safety and service aspects of the flight. Similarly senior citizens also have the option of availing wheel chair assistance, on request.

This special assistance is offered on a complimentary basis.


Visual or Hearing Disability: Meet & Assist services are provided at all airports. To help us be ready to serve you better, please try to inform us at the time of booking or otherwise at least 48 hours in advance of travel so that we can service your needs as effectively as possible. Where you do not inform us in advance, we will nevertheless use reasonable efforts to accommodate your needs.

Medical Clearance :

Medical Clearance or special forms are not required from guests with disabilities or guests with reduced mobility, who otherwise do not require any additional assistance, but who only require special assistance at the airport in embarking/ disembarking and a reasonable accommodation in flight.

Medical Clearance may be required only when Kingfisher Airlines has received information that the guest –

  1. suffers from any disease, which is believed to be actively contagious and communicable.
  2. who, because of certain diseases, or incapacitation may have or develop an adverse physical condition which could have an adverse effect during flight and on safety and emergency evacuation procedures.
  3. would require medical attention and / or special equipment to maintain their health during the flights.
  4. there exists a possibility of medical condition aggravated during or because of the flight.
