Redeem King Miles for upgrade to Kingfisher First


  • King Club Members can redeem their King Miles for a King Miles Upgrade from Kingfisher Class to Kingfisher First only after they have recorded a minimum of 5000 King Miles.
  • The King Miles Upgrade is available on both Kingfisher Airlines domestic and international sectors, where Kingfisher Airlines operates the Kingfisher First class of service. This facility is not available on code share flights and Partner Airlines. The King Miles Upgrade would be permitted only on revenue bookings that are ticketed before listing for the Upgrade.

  • The King Miles required for a King Miles Upgrade on a child fare would be equivalent to the King Miles required for a King Miles Upgrade for an adult.
  • The member will earn King Miles as per the Kingfisher Airlines class of booking based on the multi-level mileage earning system.
  • Upgrade requests under this offer will be processed at the King Club Service Centre/Help Desks only on receipt of the King Rewards Form duly signed by the member.
  • The King Miles Redemption Form form must be sent to the King Club Service Centre at least 3 working days prior to the intended date of travel.
  • The member must mention his/her Kingfisher Class booking reference number (PNR) on the King Miles Redemption Form.
  •  King Club Service Centre / Help Desk will confirm the Upgrade and communicate the same to the member, subject to availability of seats in Kingfisher First.
  •  Request for an Upgrade against King Miles will not be kept on a waitlist status and also will not be allowed for Open segments.
  •   Upgrades to Kingfisher First using King Miles Upgrade is subject to capacity and class controls.
  •  Once the King Miles Upgrade is confirmed, the class of booking will be changed to ‘Z’ class in Kingfisher First.
  • Changes to the King Miles Upgrade would require the member to cancel the Upgrade and request for a fresh Upgrade on the rebooked and ticketed itinerary.  The Upgrade will be offered subject to availability of Kingfisher First seats on the revised flight.  Any differences in the fare or rebooking charges as applicable would be payable by the member.
  • In case the member wishes to cancel the entire ticket, the member would be required to follow the normal cancellation procedures and pay the normal cancellation charges.
  • If the member wishes to cancel just the King Miles Upgrade listing, he will have to get the full ticket cancelled at a Kingfisher Airlines Ticketing Office. A new ticket will have to be issued for travel in Kingfisher Class. Any cancellation charges and difference in fares would be applicable as per fare rules. Members must contact the King Club Service Centre and advise of the cancellation of the Upgrade. The King Miles will be credited back to the member’s account by the King Club Service Centre within 3 working days. 500 King Miles will be debited as processing charges.
  • Members can request for a King Miles Upgrade in the name of any Guest of the member’s choice.
  •  On both international and domestic sectors, this offer can be availed on all classes of booking except tickets issued under fare classes G/X/R. 
  • Request for a King Miles Upgrade must be made prior to Tele-Check in, as applicable.
