Definitions


  • What is a Frequent Flyer program?
    • As the name suggests, Frequent Flyer program is a programme for guests who fly frequently. It serves for us to recognize and thank our guests for choosing to fly with us, by crediting your account with King Miles for every time you fly with us. These King Miles can then be exchanged for free flights, upgrades and other rewards.
    • The programme also keeps in touch with its members by sending details on special offers, promotions, invitations and monthly e-statement.
  • What is King Club?
  • King Club is the frequent flyer programme of Kingfisher Airlines. With King Club, you earn King Miles on the entire network of Kingfisher Airlines and you can redeem these King Miles for free tickets to travel on Kingfisher Airlines or partner airlines. As a King Club member you enjoy a range of exclusive privileges and distinctive benefits for each membership level from the moment you have booked your travel till the time you reach your final destination. The benefits include excess baggage allowance, access to airport lounges, upgrade vouchers, priority check-in at Kingfisher First counters and more.
  • What is a King Mile?
  • King Mile is the reward currency earned when a King Club member flies with Kingfisher Airlines or our Airline Partners. King Miles can also be earned through our Programme partners which includes a range of leisure and business hotel, leisure and lifestyle, financial and car rental partners and more.
  • What is a Status King Mile?
    • Status King Mile is miles which account towards Tier Status. Status Miles = Base Flying Miles (Miles accrued by travel on Kingfisher Airlines) + Cabin Bonus Miles (Miles accrued for travel on Kingfisher First) Please note only Status King Miles (i.e. the base King Miles you earn for travel on Kingfisher Class including the Cabin Bonus for tickets in Kingfisher First), but excluding the Tier Bonus, Partner King Miles and any other Promotional/ Bonus King Miles, count towards your tier status and result in your move up the Tier. However all King Miles earned can be used for redemption of King Reward Tickets.
    • When members earn the required number of status Miles, they progress up the programme tiers to King Silver and King Gold membership. All other King Miles accummulated with programme partners are refereed to us Partner King Miles

    • Enrolment forms are also available on-board, city and airport ticketing offices.
  • Is there an enrolment fee?
  • No, there is no enrolment fee.
  • Now that I have been enrolled, how do I get Miles credited into my account?
  • Simply quote your membership number at the time of booking your tickets and while checking-in. We request you to please retain the boarding pass till the travel is logged onto your King Club account and King Miles are credited for the said travel.
  • Can I include my family’s/colleague’s travel into my account?
  • No, King Club membership is purely on individual basis and only your travel will qualify for accrual of King Miles into your account. You may however have your family and friends enrolled as explained earlier.

  • What are the things that I must look for in my Welcome Kit?
  • Your Welcome Kit contains:
    • Personalised membership card
    • Baggage tag and strap
    • King Club brochure
    • Welcome letter
    • King Miles Chart
  • How long would my membership be valid?
  • As long you have valid King Miles in your account, subject to the other qualifying criteria as mentioned earlier.
  • How long would my King Miles be valid?
  • King Miles would be valid for 3 years from the date of accrual.
  • Can I get a duplicate card if I have lost it or if it is damaged or stolen?
  • Yes, we request you to contact the King Club Member Assistance. Please note 200 King Miles would be debited from your account and a new card would be sent at your address recorded with us.

Internet Access


  • Can I access the King Club through the Internet?
  • Yes, King Club is a fully web enabled programme – suited to meet your needs. You can access your account online at any time. Please note you will have to set up your online account before you can start accessing your account.
  • What do I need to do to get access over the internet?
  • You need a login ID which is your King Club membership number and a password. If you have not setup your online account, click here to setup your online account in the ACCOUNT SETUP section.
  • What if I don’t have a password?
  • You can create your password by using the account setup link.
  • What other transactions can I process online?
  • You may change your membership profile online. However any changes to the name of member will be required to be communicated to us in writing and have to be supported with valid documents for proof of identity, i.e. passport copy, marriage certificate etc.
    With online access to King Club you can:
    • Redeem your King Miles for Kingfisher Airlines flights.
    • Update your personal details
    • Manage your e-mail preferences
    • Check your King Miles or Qualification status
    • Check your mileage expiry details
    • View your Frequent Flyer Activities and Statement Details
    • View detailed information on the King Club Programme and Partners

  • Do I earn any Bonus King Miles on using e-services?
  • Use e-services and earn Bonus King Miles as follows:
    • Earn 500 Bonus King Miles on – eTicketing through www.flykingfisher.com.
    • Earn 250 Bonus King Miles when you check-in using Web check-in.
    • To help us serve you better, update your profile and earn 500 bonus King Miles

Tier Retention & Renewal


  • What is King Red, King Silver & King Gold?
  • These are the tiers or levels of membership within the King Club and in ascending hierarchy ranks – King Red, King Silver, and King Gold. The higher your tier, the more the benefits and privileges.
  • When can I gain entry into the above said tiers?
  • Once you enrol, you need 1 valid Kingfisher First flight or 3 valid Kingfisher Class flights or 5 Valid Kingfisher Red flights or 3,000 status King Miles in a calendar year to reach the King Red tier.

    To attain King Silver, you would need to complete 10 valid Kingfisher First flight or 30 valid Kingfisher Class flights or 50 Valid Kingfisher Red flights or earn 30,000 status King Miles in a calendar year; whichever is earlier.

    To attain King Gold, you would need to complete 20 valid Kingfisher First flight or 60 valid Kingfisher Class flights or 100 Valid Kingfisher Red flights or earn 70,000 status King Miles in a calendar year; whichever is earlier.

  • How long will I remain in the same tier?
  • Tier levels are valid for a period of one calendar year.
  • What do I do to retain my King Silver/King Gold?
  • You would need to
    • Complete 10 valid Kingfisher First flights or 25 valid Kingfisher Class flights or 25,000 status King Miles in a calendar year to retain King Silver status
    • Complete 20 valid Kingfisher First flights or 50 valid Kingfisher Class flights or 60,000 status King Miles in a calendar year to retain King Gold status.
  • What if I do not complete the above criteria?
  • If you do not complete the criteria to retain your King Silver or King Gold status, you would then be down listed to the next lower tier.
  • What tier benefits do I get for being in the King Silver tier?
  • You would be entitled to
    • Excess baggage allowance of 10 kgs.
    • Lounge access at select airports when travelling within India.
    • 10 % bonus King Miles on all flights on Kingfisher Airlines
    • Check-in At Kingfisher First Counters (available in select cities)
  • What tier benefits do I get for being in the King Gold tier?
  • You would be entitled to
    • Excess baggage allowance of 20 Kgs.
    • (i) King Gold members travelling on Kingfisher First can invite one guest to the Lounge on both domestic and International Sector.
      (ii) King Gold members travelling on Kingfisher Class can invite one guest to the Lounge in Domestic Sector.
      (iii) King Gold members travelling on Kingfisher Class can avail Lounge in International Sector (i.e. no guests allowed)
    • Check-in At Kingfisher First Counters (available in select cities)
    • 20 % bonus King Miles on all flights on Kingfisher Airlines
    • 2 upgrade vouchers on achieving King Gold status.

  • Being a member of the King Club, you would be entitled to the following privileges:
    • Earn King Miles every time you fly with Kingfisher Airlines, subject to programme terms & conditions, as applicable.
    • King Club points can be redeemed for King Club Rewards, subject to programme Terms and Conditions.
    • Tier benefits like lounges access, excess baggage and upgrade vouchers, subject benefits available per Tier.
    • Anytime, anywhere access to your King Club account through our website and a service centre to handle your queries & complaints.
    • Benefits arising out of alliances with Partners to the King Club programme.

Earn/Redeem King Miles


  • How do I earn King Mile?
  • By flying on Kingfisher Airlines or using any of our Partner’s services, subject to programme terms and conditions, as applicable.
  • Will I earn King Miles for travel I have undertaken on Kingfisher Airlines before my enroling into the King Club?
  • All flights taken 180 days prior to your enrolment will be credited with King Miles applicable for each sector of travel, on submission of relevant boarding cards/flight details with PNR. For all Partners, Partner King Miles may be claimed only from the date of the alliance or 180 days from the date of travel/transaction, whichever is later.
  • Can I claim King Miles for travel already undertaken?
  • Yes you can, we request you to mail us a copy of your Boarding card or provide us with your PNR, along with the flight details. You may claim missing King Miles online on www.flykingfisher.com. Please note you can claim King Miles for a period of upto 180 days. For all partner Airlines, the claims must be supported by the original boarding pass and tickets.
  • How soon will King Miles reflect in my account?
  • Within 48 hours from date of travel recorded either at time of booking a flight or Check-in. Please note you will receive a sms on your mobile number provided in your profile upon credit of King Miles.
  • Can I pool or transfer King Miles?
  • No, transfer or pooling of King Miles is not permitted.
  • How do I redeem?
  • You can redeem your King Reward tickets online on www.flykingfisher.com or simply contact King Club Member Assistance to book your King Reward ticket and other redemption benefits. For redeeming King Reward on Kingfisher Red, please contact King Club Member Assistance.
  • Can King Miles be redeemed for any person other than the member?
  • Yes, tickets may be redeemed in the names of any person provided it has the member’s authorization.
  • Can I redeem my King Miles for flights operated by Kingfisher Red?
  • Yes. Please note the online redemption facility is not available for Kingfisher Red; please contact King Club Member Assistance to redeem King Reward tickets on Kingfisher Red.
  • What is the validity of my King Reward?
  • Your King Reward ticket is valid only for the date of travel for a flight confirmed prior to travel.
  • Can I seek changes to King Reward tickets?
  • Yes, but that will attract a charge of 200 Miles for changes in date and 500 Miles for any other change. However please bear in mind, any changes or cancellations can be affected only up to 72 hours and 2 hours before the flight respectively, after which King Miles will be forfeited if not utilized.
  • Will the redeemed King Miles be re-credited into my account in case of a cancellation / changes?
  • Yes, while normal cancellation charges of 500 King Miles applies, the balance would be re-credited to your King Club account.
  • Are taxes applicable on King Rewards?
  • Yes, as per terms and conditions, the same are payable by credit card or cash at the time of booking the reward.
  • Do I need to reach a threshold before I can redeem King Miles?
  • Yes, you need to accrue at least 4,000 King Miles before you can redeem a King Reward for the first time.

Communication


  • How do I get to know the status of my King Miles?
    • Available online for you to access whenever you wish to by logging to your King Club account.
    • A monthly e-statement will be sent to you if you have recorded any activity in your account during the previous month.
    • You will automatically receive an SMS for all transactions with King Miles should your Mobile number exist in our profile. You could disable this function should you wish to at any time.
  • Will I receive SMS on flight and non-flight activities credited to my King Club account?
  • Yes you will receive an SMS once your flights on non-flight transactions are credited to your account provided you have not deactivated this service.
  • How do I activate my King Club account to send me SMS for my activities?
  • You will get SMS alerts automatically if you have given us your cell number at the time of enrolment. In case you have not, please update us with your mobile number by contacting the King Club Member Assistance and request for SMS alert facility to be enabled.
  • How do I de-activate the SMS facility so that I do not receive any sms from King Club?
  • To de-activate, SMS (KC DACT) to 56767 and you will stop receiving SMS for your activities. Should you wish to re-activate this service, you could do so by sending an SMS (KC ACT) to 56767.
