Important advisory for guests travelling to London


November 28, 2011 – All guests travelling with us  to London Heathrow from India are advised that the immigration officers of the UK Border Agency at Heathrow airport are proposing to go on strike on November 30, 2011.

This industrial action is definitely expected to have an impact on the UK Border Agency’s ability to support normal operations at the airport. The local authorities are expecting a significant disruption and delays, arriving guests can expect to have delays and long queues at passport control.  Fast track immigration will not be available on November 30,2011.

We are in constant touch with the British Airports Authority who in turn are discussing contingency plans with the UK Border Agency to see how the impact on our guests can be minimized.

Our flights scheduled to arrive at Heathrow Airport on November 30, 2011 will continue to operate as normal. Similarly, our flights scheduled to depart from London Heathrow on November 30, 2011 will continue to operate as usual. However, to ensure that you do no face any inconvenience, we urge you to consider changing your travel dates.

Guests may change to earlier or later flights as follows:

Re-booking Options: Guests arriving London (LHR) on November 30, 2011 may change their bookings to earlier flight date (November, 29) or rebook to later flight dates (1st to 7th December, 2011) at the lowest fare available with no additional administrative charges, subject to availability of seats.

Refunds: As we are operating our normal schedule, guests who no longer wish to travel will incur normal cancellation charges in accordance with the applicable fare rules.
