The Online Sales and Operations (OSO) team keeps us growing and profitable. We are dedicated to supporting the company's expanding base of advertisers, publishers and users on a global basis, and providing them with the highest levels of service. We are responsible for supporting customers and generating revenue from a broad range of products such as AdWords, AdSense, Gmail and Google Earth. This means that OSO team members need to be proactive, motivated, organized, responsible – and able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:
• | Member of the online Sales Finance and Business Analytics team responsible for defining, analyzing and communication key metrics and business trends for Online Sales and Operations management teams. |
• | Develop comprehensive performance analysis, business intelligence and data mining support for the online business. |
• | Develop financial and data models and tools that provide a platform for decision making to optimize revenue growth |
• | Research and analyze key business drivers, competitive environment, trends and operating metrics. |
• | Execute sophisticated quantitative analyses and advanced modeling that translates data into actionable insights. |
Key Job Requirements:
• | University degree or equivalent required. MBA preferred. |
• | Consulting/investment banking or other analytical work experience preferred. |
• | Analytical mind that is capable of structured analysis of data together with ability to synthesize data into useful formats bringing actionable insights. |
• | Demonstrated interest in modeling and financial analysis with strong track record in complex analysis and a high degree of analytical rigor. |
• | Superior Microsoft Excel modeling skills (pivot tables, macros) and PowerPoint skills together with strong database experience (e.g. SQL, MS Access). |
• | Distinctive research, problem solving and analytical skills, combined with strong business judgment. |
• | Demonstrated superior performance in prior roles with increasing levels of responsibility and independence; demonstrated ability to lead and drive complex operational and strategic initiatives. |
