Kingfisher Airlines Launches Five Star Privileges Program

Mumbai; April 8, 2009—Kingfisher Airlines, India’s market-leading airline and the only Five-Star airline, rated by Skytrax, from India today announced the launch of “Five Star Privileges”, an exclusive  program that entitles guests to avail of great deals at partner establishments around the country. These include leading 5-star, luxury and boutique hotels; select restaurants, tourist attractions, spas, beauty salons, movie multiplexes and includes special deals while shopping for designer brands and special deals at premium department store chains. Frequent corporate travelers have the option to take advantage of special offers on car rental services.

The introduction of this initiative marks the first time ever that an airline in India is offering wide-ranging benefits on presentation of the boarding pass. Moreover, the benefits under this program are available to guests who fly with Kingfisher Airlines in any class of service whether it is Kingfisher First, Kingfisher Class or Kingfisher Red.

To enjoy these privileges, guests simply have to preserve their boarding pass stub that is returned to them while boarding the aircraft and later present it at participating locations within 15 days from the date of travel. Because there is no limit on the number of times that a guest can utilize the boarding pass under this program, it is possible to avail these exclusive benefits repeatedly at the same partner establishment or indeed at any partner establishment, one after the other.
